Project: An apartment of my own...
This blog was meant for fab baubles and handmade creations, but it looks like, because my evil tendencies of procrastination has kicked in-too lazy to open another blog, I will be using this one temporarily to vent my personals.
I digress. I am off to Ikea to finalize my cozy setup before mum and mini me comes to visit. The worries of immediate financials is pushed aside while I enjoy a few days of alone time. And I mean alone time, since, considering in the past, oh, my, gawd! has it been five years since I had an apartment to my self? Ok, so I deserve this month, and hopefully several more months of freedom, peace, and privacy. From the bedroom windows I can hear kids voices and birds. BIRDS! in Queens. Ok, now there goes a train, but that even sounds nice as a bach drop noise.
So far, I feel almost a transition of ick to good energy that is reviving in my home. Yes, it feels like a home.
I am off to buy those few necessities that we women can't do without, in her own home.
Hopefully my other evil tendencies won't veer it's head. Unnecessary spending in the name of cuteness.
Update:
1 floor lamp
1 clip lamp
1 decorative-could be the future mood lamp in the boudoir?
1 shower curtain & lining
1 bath rug
1 jar of the Queens blend of preserves
1 pack of crispbread
necessities not bought:
2 special lightbulbs for the mood and floor lamp
1 very necessary window shades/blinds
ho hum
